Lisa and Jaimee Rizzo Launch “The Two Mom Edit” Podcast

If you’re part of a two-mom family—or on the path to becoming one—Lisa and Jaimee Rizzo want you to know: You’re not alone.

These New Jersey-based wives and moms just launched The Two Mom Edit, a brand-new podcast created to uplift, support, and share the stories of LGBTQ+ families—especially those navigating the world of reciprocal IVF, parenting, and everything in between.

Lisa and Jaimee’s own journey began in 2012 and led to marriage in 2017 (you may have seen them on Say Yes to the Dress, where Lisa made history as the first bride to rock a pantsuit). Before parenthood, they co-founded “Miss Mugshot Events,” bringing queer women together in NYC through vibrant social gatherings. But everything changed when they decided to start a family.

“Suddenly, we didn’t have anyone to turn to who understood what it was like to be two moms navigating IVF, parenting, and the everyday chaos of raising a family,” they told us. That gap in support and visibility inspired The Two Mom Edit.

Lisa and Jaimee are now raising two children—Carmella (5) and Francesco (2). Both Carmella and Francesco were conceived through reciprocal IVF, with Jaimee carrying Lisa’s eggs. And while they’ve faced their fair share of challenges, they’ve found power in sharing their story and inviting others to do the same.

“Our podcast is for LGBTQ+ families, hopeful moms, tired moms, inspired moms—and anyone who just wants to feel a little less alone in their journey,” they say. “We’re keeping it honest, unfiltered, and always real.”

To anyone following a similar path: this podcast is for you. Whether you’re thinking about reciprocal IVF, already parenting, or just craving community—you’ll find a home with The Two Mom Edit.
