Kristen Hanson is a financial expert in the surrogacy space and a dedicated parent to three children conceived through IVF. As Co-Owner and Executive Director of Finance and Contracts at Simple Surrogacy, she ensures intended parents navigate the financial side of surrogacy with confidence, transparency, and ethical stewardship.

A former three-time egg donor, Kristen has deep firsthand experience with assisted reproduction, enriching her ability to guide families through their own journeys. She specializes in budgeting for surrogacy, managing escrow accounts, and ensuring that surrogate compensation and medical expenses are handled responsibly.

Kristen also works closely with legal professionals to ensure compliance with surrogacy laws across different states, helping parents secure their parental rights through contracts, pre-birth orders, and adoptions. With her financial expertise and personal passion, she’s committed to making family building more accessible and secure for LGBTQ+ parents.
