Brian Rosenberg

Brian Rosenberg (he/him) is the Executive Director and Head Coach of GWK Academy, where he leads a groundbreaking nonprofit dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ people on every path to parenthood. Drawing on more than a decade of experience building Gays With Kids into the leading platform for gay, bi, and trans dads, Brian now oversees GWK Academy’s comprehensive suite of family-building resources—including on-demand courses, personalized coaching, expert mentorship, and a growing network of affirming partners across the fertility and adoption ecosystems.

Brian and his husband, Ferd, became first-time dads in 2009, during a time when resources for queer men pursuing parenthood were scarce. Determined to change the landscape for families like their own, they launched Gays With Kids in 2014, creating a vital community and amplifying visibility for LGBTQ+ fatherhood. With the launch of GWK Academy as an independent nonprofit, Brian has expanded his mission to support the full LGBTQ+ community—ensuring that no one navigating adoption, foster care, surrogacy, or fertility treatment has to do it alone.

A passionate advocate for family-building equity, Brian is committed to reducing barriers, improving access to expert guidance, and fostering inclusive conversations that strengthen and celebrate diverse LGBTQ+ families.He and Ferd have been together since 1993—a longevity Brian credits to Ferd’s culinary skills and his own unwavering enthusiasm for anything his husband cooks.
